What is a peptide stack?

A peptide stack is simply two or more compounds used together.

The idea is that different compounds may target different pathways, so combining them is intended to create a broader effect than using one on its own.

Some stacks are built from separate vials. Others are sold as premixed blends, with multiple compounds already combined in a single vial.

What to know before you compare

Research on the individual compounds does not automatically translate to research on the stack.

Most peptide combinations have little to no direct human research evaluating the compounds together, so claims about a stack may rely heavily on theory, seller descriptions, community discussion, and personal reports.

Any research tag shown here applies to the combination itself, not to the evidence behind each individual compound.

Healing and recovery

The oldest corner of stacking. These combinations have been used together for years, mostly for injuries, joints, tendons and skin, and they are where most people start.

6 stacks

Wolverine

Not tested together
bpc + tb · the healing stack
Injury repairTendons & jointsGut liningMobility

People run this after an injury that is not resolving. BPC-157 is the one reached for with tendon, ligament and gut problems, and TB-500 for broader soft tissue and getting range of motion back. The logic is that they work on repair from two different directions: BPC-157 is associated with building blood vessels into damaged tissue, TB-500 with getting repair cells to move where they are needed. Supply and delivery. It is the most discussed recovery combination in the category and the one most often sold premixed.

What is actually known

Both compounds have substantial animal research and neither has human trials. No study has given them together. Cycling patterns you will see quoted are community convention, not protocols from any trial.

GLOW

Not tested together
glow 70 · the skin and repair stack
Skin qualityCollagenScarringInjury repair

Wolverine with a copper peptide added, run by people who want the repair effect where it shows. GHK-Cu is the skincare ingredient used to smooth fine lines, fade dark spots and firm skin by signalling collagen. Adding it to the healing pair is meant to cover internal repair and external appearance at once, which is why this one comes up around post-surgical recovery and scarring rather than sports injuries.

What is actually known

GHK-Cu has the strongest human evidence of the three, and almost all of it is topical rather than injected. The other two are animal-only. The three together have not been studied.

KLOW

Not tested together
klow 80 · glow plus kpv
Skin qualityInflammationGutInjury repair

GLOW with KPV added, and the addition is specifically about inflammation. KPV is the anti-inflammatory tail of a hormone called alpha-MSH, with the tanning part removed. People choose KLOW over GLOW when the skin involved is actively reactive or flaring rather than simply ageing, or when gut inflammation is in the picture too. It is the largest stack still sold as a single vial.

What is actually known

Four compounds, four separate mechanism claims, no study of any combination of them. KPV has real mouse colitis data and no human trials.

GHK-Cu + BPC-157

Not tested together
the skin and repair pair
Skin qualityWound healingInjury repair

The two-compound version of GLOW without TB-500, and the cheapest way into this category. Run by people focused on skin and wound healing rather than tendons, since TB-500 is the member most associated with soft tissue and mobility. Often the first stack someone tries.

What is actually known

GHK-Cu's human evidence is topical. BPC-157's is animal. The pair is untested. GHK-Cu is light-sensitive and is usually kept in its own vial instead of mixed.

Wolverine + the GH stack

Not tested togetherNew
heal and build · wolverine + cjc/ipa · the kitchen sink
Injury repairLean massSleepRecovery

Two of the most discussed stacks run together, aimed at healing an injury while holding muscle during limited training.

What is actually known

No trial covers either pair, let alone all four. The two halves overlap on tissue repair, since growth hormone raises IGF-1 and IGF-1 drives collagen production. TB-500 makes the whole stack a WADA violation.

Thymosin Alpha-1 + BPC-157

Not tested togetherNew
the immune repair stack · ta1 + bpc · tissue and immunity
Immune supportGut repairRecoveryResilience

Pairs the compound with the strongest regulatory record on this site with the most widely sold research peptide, to cover immunity and tissue repair at once.

What is actually known

Thymosin alpha-1 is approved in over 35 countries and its hepatitis B evidence is solid. Its largest sepsis trial, 1,089 patients and double-blind, found no benefit and the authors said it should outweigh earlier positive results. The pairing has never been tested.

Stack category

Gut health

A smaller group with unusually specific mechanism grounding. The argument for why these work is more concrete than in most categories, and the human evidence is still absent.

3 stacks

BPC-157 + KPV

Not tested togetherNew
the gut stack
Gut liningInflammationIBD & colitis

Run by people dealing with IBD, colitis or chronic gut inflammation. BPC-157 handles the repair side, KPV the inflammation side, which is a cleaner division of labour than most stacks manage. KPV is also the rare peptide with a real argument for taking it orally: it enters cells through PepT1, a transporter that carries small peptides, and colon levels of that transporter rise when tissue is inflamed. So the target tissue pulls it in precisely when it is inflamed.

What is actually known

The KPV colitis work is mouse studies with the peptide in drinking water. It is genuinely good preclinical work and there are essentially no human trials. BPC-157 is animal-only. The pair is untested.

BPC-157 + KPV + Glutathione

Not tested togetherNew
gut and detox
Gut liningInflammationAntioxidant

The gut pair with glutathione added, the body's own main antioxidant, which mops up molecules that damage cells. Reached for by people who connect their gut problems to toxin exposure or immune dysfunction rather than to injury or diet. Glutathione is also widely taken on its own for skin brightness, so some of its popularity here comes in sideways.

What is actually known

The glutathione rationale is considerably weaker than the BPC and KPV parts, and oral glutathione absorption is itself contested. Nothing has been studied as a three-compound combination.

LL-37 + BPC-157

Not tested togetherNew
the gut reset · kill and heal · ll-37 and bpc
Gut liningBacterial overgrowthImmune defenceWound healing

Sold as clear the bacteria then repair the lining. LL-37 is the body's own antimicrobial and BPC-157 handles the damage behind it.

What is actually known

LL-37 works by stimulating immune activity, and published work ties that same activity to psoriasis and lupus by converting self-DNA into an immune trigger. Guides selling it list an active inflammatory bowel disease flare as a reason not to use it, which is one of the main reasons people buy it.

Stack category

Weight loss and body composition

The fastest-growing group, driven by how many people are now on a GLP-1 drug. Most questions here are about keeping muscle while losing weight, or about pushing fat loss further than one drug manages alone.

11 stacks

CagriSema

Trialled together
cagrilintide + semaglutide
Weight lossAppetiteBlood sugar

Two separate appetite pathways hit at once. Semaglutide copies a gut hormone that signals fullness and steadies blood sugar. Cagrilintide copies amylin, a pancreatic hormone that slows digestion. The theory is that two fullness signals suppress appetite more than one, and the trial data supports it. Being developed as a single product by a pharmaceutical company rather than assembled by users.

What is actually known

The only combination on this page with real clinical trial data as a combination. Everything else here rests on mechanism reasoning. If you want to see what a properly tested stack looks like, this is it.

the recomp stack · muscle preservation
Muscle retentionWeight lossSleepRecovery

The single most asked question in peptides right now. Losing weight on a GLP-1 takes muscle along with the fat, and people add ipamorelin or CJC-1295 hoping to hold onto it. Growth hormone's relationship to lean tissue is established pharmacology, so the reasoning is better than most stacks here, and the two drug classes do not interact. Sleep and recovery benefits are the secondary draw.

What is actually known

The muscle loss is measured and real. A phase 2 trial of a myostatin blocker cut lean mass from 30.2% of weight lost to 14.6%, so the target matters. No trial has tested a secretagogue alongside a GLP-1. Resistance training and adequate protein both have randomised evidence and cost nothing.

Retatrutide + Cagrilintide

Not tested togetherNew
reta + cagri
Weight lossAppetite

The CagriSema idea with retatrutide swapped in. Retatrutide acts on three receptors where semaglutide acts on one, and trial participants have seen around a quarter to nearly a third of body weight come off. Pairing it with an amylin copy is the aggressive end of appetite suppression.

What is actually known

Retatrutide is still in trials and not approved anywhere. Cagrilintide is not approved on its own. The combination has not been trialled, unlike CagriSema which has.

Retatrutide + Tesamorelin

Not tested togetherNew
total plus visceral fat
Weight lossBelly fatGrowth hormone

Two different fat targets rather than two appetite signals. Retatrutide drives overall loss. Tesamorelin is aimed specifically at visceral fat, the deep abdominal kind that sits around organs and does not respond well to general weight loss. The mechanisms do not overlap, which is the appeal.

What is actually known

Tesamorelin is FDA approved, but for reducing excess abdominal fat in adults with HIV-associated lipodystrophy, not as a general fat drug. Retatrutide is not approved at all. Both can affect blood sugar and the pair is untested.

Retatrutide + AOD-9604

Not tested together
the metabolic stack
Weight lossFat loss

Retatrutide for appetite and overall loss, with AOD-9604 added on the theory that it burns fat without the muscle or blood sugar effects of full growth hormone. It is a fragment of growth hormone kept for the fat-burning part and stripped of the rest.

What is actually known

AOD-9604's own evidence is weak, which makes it the shakiest addition in this group. Retatrutide is unapproved. Nothing tested together.

Semaglutide + MOTS-c

Not tested togetherNew
energy on a cut
Weight lossEnergyMetabolism

Aimed at a specific complaint rather than at more weight loss. Energy drops when calories are low for long enough, and MOTS-c is added for metabolic support through that stretch. It comes from mitochondria, the parts of cells that produce energy, and is run here as a support compound rather than as a weight loss agent.

What is actually known

Semaglutide has extensive trial data. MOTS-c has preclinical work and early human data and is not an established weight loss agent. The pair is untested.

the aggressive fat loss stack
Weight lossBelly fatEnergyMetabolism

Three angles at once: appetite and overall loss from retatrutide, visceral fat from tesamorelin, metabolic support from MOTS-c. The most complex stack on this page and the one where the case for medical supervision is strongest, because several members influence blood sugar and growth hormone activity at the same time.

What is actually known

No combination here has been studied. Two of the three are unapproved, and the third is approved for a narrow indication. Running three compounds that each affect blood sugar means no way to attribute a problem to any one of them.

Tirzepatide + Retatrutide

Label advises againstNew
tirz and reta · the double incretin stack · tirz + reta
Weight lossAppetiteBlood sugar

Two drugs from the same class combined to push weight loss further, usually after a plateau. One vendor sells them premixed in a single vial.

What is actually known

The FDA approval notice for Zepbound says tirzepatide should not be combined with any GLP-1 receptor agonist, and retatrutide is one. The two share two of three receptors, so the combination doubles up rather than adding a mechanism. Never tested together.

Semaglutide + BPC-157

Not tested togetherNew
the tolerability stack · sema and bpc · the gut rescue
NauseaGut comfortStaying on treatment

Added to settle the gut symptoms that make people stop taking GLP-1 drugs, on the reasoning that BPC-157 protects the stomach lining.

What is actually known

Semaglutide's nausea is mediated by GLP-1 receptors in the area postrema, a brainstem region, rather than by damage to the gut lining. One review suggests the nausea and the appetite suppression may be inseparable. A granted US patent covers the combination and no trial has tested it.

Retatrutide + SLU-PP-332

Not tested togetherNew
the easy fat loss stack · reta and slu · exercise in a vial
Fat lossEnduranceEnergy expenditure

Sold as the easy fat loss stack: a drug that suppresses appetite paired with a compound said to produce the metabolic effects of endurance training.

What is actually known

Retatrutide has five positive Phase 3 trials. SLU-PP-332 has no human trial of any kind, no investigational new drug application, and is a small molecule rather than a peptide. Two 2026 papers set out how to detect it in doping control.

Retatrutide + GHK-Cu

Not tested togetherNew
reta and ghk · the skin insurance stack · loose skin stack
Loose skinSkin firmnessCollagen

Added during rapid weight loss on retatrutide out of concern about loose skin, on the reasoning that GHK-Cu signals collagen.

What is actually known

No trial has tested the pair, and nothing published measures GHK-Cu against loose skin after weight loss. GHK-Cu's human trials are topical; no published human trial has evaluated the injectable form for any indication. Stretched skin involves damaged elastic fibres, and adult skin makes almost no new elastin.

Stack category

Growth hormone

None of these contain growth hormone. They prompt your own pituitary to release more of it, through one of two switches, and the standard approach pairs one compound from each. Understanding the two switches is what tells you whether a stack is doing two jobs or paying twice for one.

7 stacks

CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin

Not tested togetherNew
cjc/ipa · the gh stack
RecoveryLean muscleSleepFat loss

The most established pairing in the category, run for deeper sleep, faster recovery from training and a slow shift in body composition. CJC-1295 copies GHRH, the hormone telling the pituitary to make growth hormone, and clears fast. Ipamorelin flips the ghrelin receptor, a separate switch, and triggers the pulse without much effect on hunger or stress hormones. Two different doors, which is why this pairing has lasted while others have not.

What is actually known

The mechanism argument is genuinely sound and the pairing itself has never been trialled. Ipamorelin's selectivity, meaning it does not drag cortisol and appetite up with it, is the reason it beat out older compounds in this class.

Sermorelin + Ipamorelin

Not tested togetherNew
the alternative gh pair
RecoveryLean muscleSleep

The classic growth hormone pairing with sermorelin on the first switch. Chosen for its clinical history, since sermorelin held an FDA approval and CJC-1295 never did.

What is actually known

Sermorelin and the CJC-1295 sold without DAC differ at four amino acids out of twenty-nine, bind the same receptor and cost the same. Sermorelin's approval was withdrawn in 2008 for commercial reasons. None of the four blend listings states its composition.

CJC/Ipa + Tesamorelin

Not tested togetherNew
gh plus visceral fat
RecoveryBelly fatSleepLean muscle

The standard pair with tesamorelin added to target abdominal fat specifically. The problem is that CJC-1295 and tesamorelin are both GHRH analogs, so this is two compounds on the same switch plus one on the other. Three purchases, two mechanisms, and the third compound is largely a more expensive version of a door already open.

What is actually known

Stacking several growth hormone compounds raises IGF-1 activity, which is the marker worth watching. Tesamorelin's visceral fat approval is for a specific population and does not transfer to general use.

BPC-157 + MK-677 + GHRP-2

Not tested together
the performance recovery stack
RecoverySleepAppetiteInjury repair

Aimed at training recovery and sleep, with BPC-157 covering tissue repair. MK-677 is the draw for many people because it is a once-daily pill rather than an injection. The catch is that MK-677 and GHRP-2 both act on the ghrelin receptor, so two of the three compounds are doing the same job.

What is actually known

MK-677 raises appetite noticeably and is the compound in this category most often reported to raise blood sugar. Anyone watching glucose should look at it before the injectables.

Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin

Not tested togetherNew
tesa + ipa · the visceral fat stack
Belly fatSleepRecoveryLean mass

The classic growth hormone pairing with tesamorelin swapped in for CJC-1295, chosen because tesamorelin is the only compound in the category with an FDA approval attached.

What is actually known

The approved visceral fat data comes from tesamorelin alone in a patient population. No trial has quantified what ipamorelin adds. Premixed vials are sold at three different ratios under one name.

the advanced gh stack · cjc/ipa/igf · the anabolic stack
Lean massRecoverySleepFat loss

The advanced version of the most searched growth hormone pairing, adding IGF-1 directly rather than prompting the body to make it.

What is actually known

Secretagogues are chosen because the body's feedback loop stays intact. IGF-1 LR3 bypasses that loop, and CJC-1295 already raises IGF-1 by 36 to 69 percent on its own. IGF-1 LR3 has no controlled human trial.

CJC-1295 + GHRP-6

Not tested togetherNew
the original gh stack · cjc/ghrp-6 · the first-generation pair
Lean massRecoverySleepAppetite

The original version of the standard growth hormone pairing, still sold premixed and still the cheapest route into the category.

What is actually known

A 1998 study introduced ipamorelin as the first selective compound in this class, specifically to avoid the cortisol, prolactin and appetite effects GHRP-6 produces. GHRP-6 raises cortisol 20 to 50 percent above baseline and causes the strongest hunger of any growth hormone secretagogue.

the cognitive stack · the russian nootropic stack · semax/selank · the focus stack
FocusMemoryAnxietyCalm

Two Russian peptides from the same institute, bundled as a nootropic stack. Semax is registered there for stroke recovery and Selank for generalised anxiety.

What is actually known

Selank has Phase 3 trials and a Russian registration for anxiety. Semax has no controlled trial in healthy adults. The only study of the pair together measured brain connectivity in 52 healthy volunteers, not performance.

Semax + Selank + DSIP

Partly tested togetherNew
day and night cognitive
FocusAnxietySleep

The cognitive pair with DSIP added for the night. Poor sleep degrades focus and mood directly, so the argument is that treating daytime clarity without treating sleep is doing half the job. DSIP is taken before bed and is used to deepen sleep without the grogginess of a sedative.

What is actually known

DSIP has older human studies on sleep architecture with mixed findings. Adding a third compound to a pair that is itself only partly evidenced compounds the uncertainty.

SS-31 + MOTS-c + NAD+

Not tested together
the mitochondrial stack
EnergyFatigueHealthy ageingFocus

Run for fatigue and brain fog rather than for anything visible. All three target mitochondria from different angles: SS-31 at the membrane where energy is generated, MOTS-c at the signalling that governs how cells respond to low energy, NAD+ as the fuel itself. NAD+ levels fall substantially with age, which is the premise the whole category rests on.

What is actually known

SS-31 has reached real clinical trials under the name elamipretide, which is unusual here. Whether three compounds aimed at one organelle complement each other or simply duplicate has not been studied at all.

the longevity stack · anti-ageing
Healthy ageingSkin qualitySleepRepair

The broadest anti-ageing combination in circulation. Epitalon is taken in short courses for deeper sleep and is thought to support telomeres, the caps on chromosome ends that shorten as you age. GHK-Cu brings the visible side, skin and collagen, and BPC-157 general repair. Three levels: cellular, tissue and appearance.

What is actually known

Nearly all Epitalon research is Russian, decades old and unreplicated elsewhere, and the telomere claim is the least supported thing in this group. GHK-Cu's human evidence is topical.

Epitalon + DSIP

Not tested togetherNew
the night stack
SleepHealthy ageing

Both taken before bed, both aimed at sleep quality. Epitalon is run in short courses rather than continuously, which is unusual and is the main thing to know about it. DSIP is added for sleep depth specifically.

What is actually known

This pairing is a timing convenience more than a mechanism argument: the two compounds are taken together because both are taken at night, not because one supports the other. Epitalon's evidence is preclinical, DSIP's is older human work with mixed results.

GHK-Cu + Thymosin Alpha-1

Partly tested togetherNew
tissue and immune
Immune supportSkin qualityHealthy ageing

Ageing at two levels, with the immune system as the part people forget. GHK-Cu covers skin and tissue. Thymosin alpha-1 tunes immune function and is used for chronic infections and immune resilience. The pairing appeals to people thinking about resilience rather than appearance alone.

What is actually known

Thymosin alpha-1 is the best-evidenced compound anywhere on this page. Sold as Zadaxin, approved in more than 30 countries for chronic hepatitis B and as an immune adjunct, with trials covering thousands of people. It is not FDA approved in the US and its compounding status changed in 2026. The pairing with GHK-Cu is untested.

NAD+ + MOTS-c + 5-Amino-1MQ

Not tested togetherNew
MitoPrime · the mitochondrial blend · nad stack
EnergyFat lossMetabolismHealthy ageing

Sold premixed as a mitochondrial or metabolic blend, aimed at energy that has dropped without an obvious cause, and at fat loss through NNMT inhibition.

What is actually known

All three compounds converge on raising NAD+, so this is one mechanism approached three ways rather than three angles covered. 5-Amino-1MQ has zero human trials of any kind. The blend costs about 2.6 times the separate vials.

SS-31 + MOTS-c

Not tested togetherNew
repair then optimise · the mito sequence · ss-31 before mots-c
EnergyFatigueRecoveryHealthy ageing

Run as a sequence rather than a pair, on the argument that SS-31 repairs the mitochondrial membrane before MOTS-c signals for more capacity.

What is actually known

SS-31 stabilises damaged cardiolipin while present rather than repairing it, which undercuts the reason given for the order. Sources disagree on which compound should come first, and no trial has compared any ordering.

DesireArousalIntimacyConnection

PT-141 acts on desire in the brain rather than on blood flow, and oxytocin is added for the emotional side. Sold premixed by compounding pharmacies and by vendors.

What is actually known

PT-141 is the only compound on this site with a full FDA approval, covering low desire in premenopausal women. Most buyers fall outside it. Oxytocin has no controlled trial for this use, and the premixed vial costs nearly four times the parts.

PT-141 + Kisspeptin

DesireArousalTestosteroneFertility

The two compounds with the most direct published human evidence for men's sexual function, paired on the argument that one works on the brain and the other on hormones.

What is actually known

In the randomised trial measuring kisspeptin's sexual effect, testosterone did not change, so both compounds acted centrally. A Phase 2a of a kisspeptin analog for low testosterone was terminated for missing its endpoint. The combination has never been tested.
