Editorial Standards
How we research, write, update, and correct the content on this site.
Who writes this site
Content is researched and written by the Peptide Decoding editorial team at Decoded Sciences LLC. We are independent researchers, not clinicians. We read the primary literature and translate it into plain language.
We do not claim medical credentials, because we do not have them. What we do claim is that every factual statement here traces back to a source you can check yourself.
How a page gets made
- We pull the primary sources first, before writing anything
- We separate animal data from human data
- We check current regulatory status at the source
- We write it at a reading level a beginner can follow
- We link every claim back to where it came from
How often we update
Every page shows the date it was published and the date it was last updated. When regulatory status changes or new trial results are published, we update the page and change the date.
An old date means the page has not needed a change. It does not mean we stopped watching.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it and we say so.
If a correction changes the meaning of something, we add a note at the bottom of the page saying what was wrong, what it says now, and when we changed it. We do not quietly edit and pretend it was always right.
To report an error, email hello@decodedsciences.com with the page and what you think is wrong. Send a source if you have one.
Funding and conflicts of interest
Peptide Decoding is funded entirely by reader subscriptions.
We have no financial relationship with any peptide vendor, compounding pharmacy, clinic, telehealth company, or supplement brand. We run no affiliate links and accept no sponsored content.
AI disclosure
Our social media uses an AI generated presenter called Ally. We say so on every post. The research and citations behind that content are done by people.
