Allison Thorne founded Peptide Decoding in 2026, after finding that almost every page about peptides was published by somebody selling them.
She built and maintains the site's compound library, currently 225 entries, and its vendor pricing database, which tracks live prices across more than a hundred sellers. Both exist because the two questions readers actually ask, what is in the vial and what does it cost, were the ones nobody was answering without a stake in the answer.
She is not a clinician and the site does not give medical advice. What it does is separate what has been tested in humans from what has been tested in animals, and both of those from what people report online, then label every claim with which it is. Where a widely repeated figure has no traceable study behind it, the site says so instead of repeating it.
Peptide Decoding takes no payment from vendors for coverage, inclusion or ranking. Its affiliate relationships are disclosed in full on the disclosure page, and none of them has any bearing on what appears in the library or how anything is rated.
How this site is funded
A Pro subscription is the site's subscription revenue. Some vendor links earn a commission, and every one is marked where it appears and listed on the disclosure page. No vendor pays to be listed, ranked or written about, and no commission has ever affected how a vendor is rated.
How evidence is graded here
Every claim on a compound page carries an evidence label, and those labels apply per use rather than per compound, because a compound can be well established for one purpose and speculative for another. Where a figure is widely repeated with no traceable study behind it, the page says so instead of repeating it.
