Understanding Peptide Compounds
What individual compounds are, and what the evidence behind each one amounts to. A few have an FDA label and phase 3 data. Most have rodent studies, a plausible mechanism and a marketing claim, and the distance between those three is usually the most useful thing to know about them. Every page states where its figures came from and whether they were read at source, which is why some of them are shorter than the enthusiasm surrounding their subject.
Do Amylin Drugs Work as Well as GLP-1s? What the Trials Measured
One amylin drug has been approved since 2005 and moves weight by about a kilogram and a half. Newer analogs report 9.2% to 22.0%, all from company releases but one.
Glutathione by Mouth, IV, IM or Nebulized: The Evidence
The two routes people inject have no published human trial. The best-designed glutathione trial used a nebulizer and missed its primary endpoint.
Does GHK-Cu Reverse Gray Hair?
Why no study in any species has measured hair color after GHK-Cu, what happened when someone tested the copper-and-tyrosinase mechanism directly, and the twenty other things that do make gray hair repigment.
Can BPC-157 Cause Anxiety, Depression or Anhedonia? What the Reports and the Research Show
People report anxiety, low mood and anhedonia on BPC-157. What those reports, the FDA record and animal research can and cannot establish.
Is TB-500 the Same as Thymosin Beta-4? What Each Study Actually Injected
The FDA says they are not the same substance. Every human trial used the 43-residue protein, and nobody has given the seven-residue fragment to a person.
What Happens When You Stop Semaglutide or Tirzepatide? What the Regain Studies Measured
What semaglutide and tirzepatide withdrawal trials measured, why regain estimates differ, and what the labels say about stopping.
Does PT-141 Increase Sexual Desire in Women, or Mainly Physical Arousal? What the Trials Measured
The approval trials measured desire and distress, not physical arousal. The one study that measured genital blood flow directly found no change.
Do Ozempic and Mounjaro Reverse Biological Aging? What the Aging Clocks Actually Measured
The two-to-three-year figure came from an interview, not the paper. The 10,052-person analysis is a preprint whose own abstract stops short of claiming rejuvenation.
GLP-1 Fatigue: Why You Are Exhausted the Day After Your Dose
Fatigue hit 11% on Wegovy against 5% on placebo, and 5 to 7% on Zepbound. Semaglutide peaks 1 to 3 days post dose, which is the window people describe.
Does Epitalon Actually Improve Sleep?
The FDA searched the literature in 2026 and found three human studies of Epitalon. None measured sleep. The telomere claim is also its main safety concern.
Can Selank Make Anxiety Worse?
Russian anxiety trials compared Selank with benzodiazepines, not placebo. What their abstracts report, what they cannot establish, and when to seek help.
Oral BPC-157: Arginate vs Acetate, and Why Most Sellers Will Not Say
Most oral BPC-157 listings do not name a salt. The arginate claim traces to a patent; no published human absorption measurement settles the debate.
Does CagriSema Reduce Food Noise? What the Brain Scan Actually Measured
Novo says CagriSema reduced food noise in a 52-week fMRI study. It published no score for that finding and did not name the instrument it used to measure it.
Does DSIP Actually Improve Deep Sleep?
The best DSIP trial found weak objective gains, no subjective change, and its authors concluded it is unlikely to help. Every human trial used IV, not injection.
SS-31 Is Making Me Tired, Not Energetic. Is That Normal?
Tiredness is in the trial records and the repair-stage explanation is not. The phase 3 trial that measured fatigue as an endpoint found no improvement.
Can You Inject AHK-Cu?
Firsthand injection reports against no published human studies. The hair study tested follicles in a dish, not an injected treatment.
My Resting Heart Rate Keeps Climbing on a GLP-1. Should I Worry?
Wegovy's label reports a 1 to 4 bpm rise and tells clinicians to monitor it. What each label says, what retatrutide's trial found, and how to read your watch.
What Is hCG, and Why Is It Sold Beside Peptides?
An approved fertility drug, a disproven weight-loss diet, and the hormone sold alongside TRT. Why hCG is measured in IU, not milligrams.
Retatrutide Skin Sensitivity: Is It Normal?
Dysesthesia hit 12.5% at 12 mg against 0.9% on placebo in the published phase 3 trial, and 20.9% in the knee trial. Why your skin looks normal, and what to say.
Foundayo (Orforglipron): The GLP-1 That Does Not Need a Syringe
Approved 1 April 2026 as a tablet topping out at 17.2 mg. The 36 mg everyone quotes was a trial capsule. What the trials found, and what sellers are listing.
Wegovy Pill vs Foundayo: The Two GLP-1 Pills Compared
One is a peptide and needs an empty stomach, one is not and needs nothing. What each does, and which trade suits whom.
Can You Stack Tirzepatide and Retatrutide?
What the Wegovy and Zepbound labels say about combining GLP-1 drugs, how switching differs from stacking, and why cagrilintide is a separate question.
What Is the Wolverine Stack, and Does It Work?
BPC-157 and TB-500, sold together by most of the market. The combination has no controlled trial; four patients in a case series received BPC-157 with thymosin beta-4.
Why Am I So Dehydrated on Retatrutide?
Why eating less can leave you short of fluid, the warning signs to watch for, and what the approved GLP-1 labels say about kidney risk.
Does BPC-157 Actually Work? What the UCLA Review Found
One human study, 17 people, no control group. What a 2026 sports medicine review found for BPC-157 and five other recovery compounds.
Eloralintide: What the Trial Showed, the Doses and the Side Effects
Lilly's amylin drug lost up to 20.1% in phase 2, or 17.5% counting everyone. The escalation arms, the fatigue, the DXA result and what is sold.
Does Retatrutide Make You Not Care About Anything?
Nobody knows, and that means something different here. The mechanism is real, the weight loss is a competing explanation, and no surveillance data exists.
Do Peptide Serums Actually Work? Matrixyl, Argireline and Copper Peptides
The one group here with well-designed trials, small effects and near-zero risk. And a penetration problem that decides whether any of it reaches anything.
The Longevity Peptides, Sorted Out: SS-31, Epitalon, MOTS-c
One has an FDA approval narrower than the marketing suggests. One has human data belonging to a different substance. Two are studied almost entirely in mice.

Five compounds, five kinds of thing. What each was actually tested for, why Dihexa's mechanism papers were retracted, and which ones have human trials at all.
The Growth Hormone Peptides, Sorted Out
Ten compounds plus three blends, two mechanisms, one approved drug. How the GHRH analogs differ from the ghrelin mimetics, why half-lives run from eight minutes to eight days, and which three have anything behind them.
BPC-157 and TB-500: What the Healing Pair Actually Is
TB-500 is a seven amino acid piece of a protein, not the protein itself, and the research belongs to the full version. What the studies actually found for each, where they stand legally, and why the pairing is habit rather than science.
Semaglutide vs Tirzepatide vs Retatrutide: What Is Actually Different
One receptor, two, or three. How these three compare on mechanism, published trial weight loss, side effects, legal status, and real cost per dose.
The Immune Peptides, Sorted Out: Thymosin Alpha-1 and More
One has 600,000 treated patients and no FDA approval. Its largest trial was negative. The other three range from early evidence to none at all.
What Are the Side Effects of GLP-1 Peptides?
Mostly gut, mostly early, and mostly during dose increases. The trial rates, label warnings, serious risks, and what changes without a prescriber.
