01

What is Cardiogen?

Plain language first. The technical label stays, but it never stands alone.

Overview

It is marketed for heart muscle and blood vessels as they age, but there is very little real human research behind it.

The technical version

Cardiogen is a 4-amino-acid 'bioregulator' from the Russian Khavinson family.

What it's used for

Marketed for heart muscle and blood vessels as they age. Taken in short courses.

02

How does Cardiogen work?

What it does in the body, and where.

Cardiogen is 4 amino acids long, written AEDR.

  1. 01
The claim is heart tissue support
Assigned to heart muscle on the premise that a four-letter sequence picks its own tissue.
  2. 02
    No citable human evidence
The heart claim comes from the originating institute, in animals, with no independent replication.
03

What else is it used for?

Each use below carries its own evidence level. Approved means regulators have cleared it for that purpose. Investigational means it is in trials. Early research means it is being studied and is not established.

  • Supporting the heart muscle with age, which is the claim made for itResearch only
  • Studied in the Khavinson group for heart muscle as it ages.Early research

How much, and do you cycle it?

The range, and whether you take breaks.

Research only, daily, in 10-20 day courses. Daily for 10 to 20 days, then a long break Community practice

The whole family is used in short courses repeated a few times a year. That pattern comes from Russian practice, not from a trial comparing it against anything else.

05

How long does it stay in the body?

The half-life, and where the figure comes from.

Nothing publishedNo figure

No half-life has ever been published for any of the Russian bioregulator peptides, in people or in animals. The research behind them, mostly from one group in St Petersburg, measures effects on tissue, gene activity and lifespan. None of it measures how long the peptide stays in the body.

How do I dose and price it?

Enter your vial and your dose. Pick a mix. We show the draw and the cost.

The vial holds a fixed amount of drug. Adding more water does not make more drug, it just spreads it thinner, so you draw a bigger number on the syringe for the same dose.

YOUR DRAW1 / 100 units
1 units is a very small line to read, so a small slip is a large error. A larger water volume above spreads the same dose across more units.
What it costs

Cardiogen starts at $41.30 across 16 vendors, typically $2.45 – $3.75 per mg.

07

How do you store it?

Before mixing, and after.

Dry powder in the freezer or fridge. Once mixed, fridge, and use within about a month.

Unmixed lyophilized Cardiogen keeps for a long time cold. Once you add water the clock starts: most reconstituted vials hold up for roughly 28 to 30 days at fridge temperature. Keep it out of light, and do not freeze it after mixing.

08

What are the side effects and cautions?

Known cautions and warnings for this compound.

Who should avoid it

Check these before anything else.
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Active cancer, as a precaution given the claimed effect on gene activity
  • Known allergy to it

Stop and get help

These are emergencies. Seek care.
  • Signs of an allergic reaction such as face or throat swelling, hives, or trouble breathing
  • Redness, heat, or pus where it was injected

Common effects

Expected, and usually mild.
  • Injection-site reactions
  • Generally reported as well tolerated
  • No controlled human trial has recorded side effects

Where this page says nothing is established, that means nobody has studied it, not that a compound is safe.

09

Is Cardiogen approved?

And where the numbers on this page come from.

No. Cardiogen is not approved for any use, anywhere. It is sold labeled for laboratory research only, and there is no legal route to buy it for human use.
