01

What is MitoPrime blend (NAD+ / MOTS-c / 5-Amino-1MQ)?

Plain language first. The technical label stays, but it never stands alone.

Overview

Three angles on the same target. Two of the three are not peptides at all.

The technical version

MitoPrime is a pre-mixed vial holding three compounds aimed at cell energy: NAD+ at 100 mg, MOTS-c at 10 mg, and 5-Amino-1MQ at 10 mg. The idea behind pairing them is to supply NAD+, slow down how fast the body uses it up, and switch on the pathways that spend it.

What it's used for

A cellular-energy and longevity mix in one shot, taken for energy, metabolism, and healthy aging.

02

How does MitoPrime blend (NAD+ / MOTS-c / 5-Amino-1MQ) work?

What it does in the body, and where.

Three compounds aimed at the same target from different angles: supply NAD+, slow how fast the body loses it, and switch on the pathways that spend it. Two of the three are not peptides.

  1. 01
    NAD+ supplies the coenzyme directly
NAD+ is required for energy production and DNA repair, and levels fall with age. This is 100 of the 120 mg in the vial.
  2. 02
5-Amino-1MQ blocks the enzyme that uses NAD+ up
It inhibits NNMT, which is meant to leave more NAD+ available. It is a small molecule, not a peptide.
  3. 03
    MOTS-c activates AMPK
MOTS-c is encoded in mitochondrial DNA and signals during metabolic stress. It is the only actual peptide in the vial.
  4. 04
The logic is tidy and completely untested
No human trial has tested any of the three, alone or together. The blend is an argument, not a finding.

04

How much, and do you cycle it?

The range, and whether you take breaks.

1 up to 5 mg MOTS-c per day (the rest follows the fixed 10:1:1 ratio), daily. No established pattern, since the blend has never been studied No range

Each component is cycled differently when used alone, and the locked ratio means you cannot follow three schedules at once. Anyone running this is picking one schedule and applying it to all three.

05

How long does it stay in the body?

The half-life, and where the figure comes from.

None of the three has a usable figureNo figure

NAD+, MOTS-c and 5-Amino-1MQ. Injected NAD+ left the blood too fast for a half-life to be worked out in the only human study. MOTS-c has never been measured in a person. The 5 to 8 hours quoted for 5-Amino-1MQ is credited to a study that does not appear to exist.

06

How do I dose and price it?

Enter your vial and your dose. Pick a mix. We show the draw and the cost.

The vial holds a fixed amount of drug. Adding more water does not make more drug, it just spreads it thinner, so you draw a bigger number on the syringe for the same dose.

The ratio is locked at 10:1:1. NAD+ is 100 of the 120 mg, so the total vial size tells you almost nothing about the other two.

Your draw

Pick which vial you have above. A blend holds 3 separate compounds, so the draw depends on how many milligrams of each are in your vial.

What one draw delivers

The same arithmetic as the calculator, worked out for the vials vendors sell.

Dose anchored to MOTS-c, at the 5 to 10 mg per day people commonly cite. Each table assumes one draw per day. If you split it across more injections, divide the reading by the number of injections.

No published human study establishes a dose for this blend. The range comes from vendor and community practice, and is anchored to one component because a blend is one draw: the other components follow at whatever ratio is in your vial.

The ratio is locked, so the whole vial is one dose decision. Taking MOTS-c across its commonly cited 1 to 5 mg daily range also delivers 10 to 50 mg of NAD+ per day, which sits inside NAD+'s own usual range. The same draw delivers 1 to 5 mg of 5-Amino-1MQ, within the range people use when injecting it on its own. Nothing in this vial is being under-delivered, and the 5-Amino-1MQ portion is the one to watch.

07

How do you store it?

Before mixing, and after.

Dry powder in the freezer or fridge. Once mixed, fridge, and use within about a month.

Unmixed lyophilized MitoPrime blend (NAD+ / MOTS-c / 5-Amino-1MQ) keeps for a long time cold. Once you add water the clock starts: most reconstituted vials hold up for roughly 28 to 30 days at fridge temperature. Keep it out of light, and do not freeze it after mixing.

08

What are the side effects and cautions?

Known cautions and warnings for this compound.
Handling note

Inject slowly. NAD+ makes up 100 of the 120 mg in this vial, and pushing NAD+ too fast causes flushing, warmth, and nausea. The ratio inside the vial is locked at 10:1:1, so you cannot adjust one component without changing all three.

Who should avoid it

Check these before anything else.
  • Pregnancy
  • No human safety data exists for 5-Amino-1MQ at all, and none for the blend
  • Banned in drug-tested sport, since MOTS-c is prohibited

Stop and get help

These are emergencies. Seek care.
  • Chest tightness or difficulty breathing during or after injecting
  • Signs of an allergic reaction
  • Anything unusual, given the absence of human data on this combination

Common effects

Expected, and usually mild.
  • Flushing, warmth, and nausea if injected quickly, which comes from the NAD+ portion
  • Injection-site reactions
  • Beyond that, unknown. No controlled human trial has tested any of these three compounds, let alone the three together

Where this page says nothing is established, that means nobody has studied it, not that a compound is safe.

09

Is MitoPrime blend (NAD+ / MOTS-c / 5-Amino-1MQ) approved?

And where the numbers on this page come from.

No. MitoPrime blend (NAD+ / MOTS-c / 5-Amino-1MQ) is not approved for any use, anywhere. It is sold labeled for laboratory research only, and there is no legal route to buy it for human use.

What has happened recently

The name collides with an unrelated product. MitoPrime is a registered trademark for L-ergothioneine, an oral antioxidant supplement with nothing in common with this vial. Check the ingredient list rather than the name.

Banned in drug-tested sport. Most research peptides are prohibited under WADA's S0 category, which covers any substance with no approval from any regulatory authority for human use. That means a compound can be banned without ever being named on the prohibited list. Check with your own anti-doping authority rather than assuming absence from the list means permitted.
