Beinaglutide, a recombinant human GLP-1 sharing 100 percent sequence identity with human GLP-1 (7-36), molecular formula C149H225N39O46. Approved by the Chinese regulator in December 2016 for type 2 diabetes and in July 2023 for weight management. Reported half-life approximately 11 minutes, administered three times daily preprandially. Not FDA-approved.
