How do you store it?

Before mixing, and after.

Dry powder in the freezer or fridge. Once mixed, fridge, and use within about a month.

Unmixed lyophilized Cerluten keeps for a long time cold. Once you add water the clock starts: most reconstituted vials hold up for roughly 28 to 30 days at fridge temperature. Keep it out of light, and do not freeze it after mixing.

  • Khavinson et al., Peptide Regulation of Gene Expression: A Systematic Review (Molecules 26:7053)(2021)
    This is an extract of nerve tissue, not a single defined molecule, and this review is the originating group's own account of that class. It calls them cytomedines, peptide fractions isolated from animal organs, and states that their action is specific to the cell populations they were taken from. That claim is the whole reason a nerve tissue extract is sold for the brain and nervous system, so it is worth knowing where it comes from and what supports it. The review is written by Khavinson and colleagues at the Saint Petersburg institute where these products originated, so it is the source group making its own case, and the evidence behind it is cell culture, animal work and molecular modelling rather than trials in people.
  • FDA, bulk drug substances nominated for use in compounding under section 503A, updated 14 May 2026(2026)
    A nerve tissue extract sold in the United States has no regulatory standing here at all. Two peptides from this same Russian family, Epitalon and Semax, went before FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee in July 2026. The products sold alongside them, including this one, appear in none of the three categories on this list, which has been open to nominations since 2013 and drew over two thousand submissions.
