01

What is Bonothyrk?

Plain language first. The technical label stays, but it never stands alone.

Overview

A capsule made from calf parathyroid glands, sold for calcium balance and bone strength. The bone density claim uses a timescale too short for a scan to measure.

The technical version

Cytomax peptide fraction A-21, extracted from bovine parathyroid tissue of animals under twelve months. Labeled daily intake is 20 mg of peptide complex A-21 in two capsules. Proposed mechanism is tissue-specific modulation of gene expression in parathyroid chief cells. No controlled human efficacy data has been published outside the originating Russian research program.

What it's used for

An oral tissue extract marketed for parathyroid function, calcium balance and bone strength.

02

How does Bonothyrk work?

What it does in the body, and where.

Bonothyrk is a mixture of small peptides pulled from parathyroid tissue, usually from calves under a year old.

  1. 01
    Drawn from calf parathyroid glands
A Cytomax, extracted from the parathyroid glands of animals under twelve months. Product labeling gives a daily amount of 20 mg of peptide complex A-21 across two capsules.
  2. 02
The claim is calcium and phosphate balance
The parathyroid glands control calcium and phosphate levels, which is real physiology. The proposal that an oral extract adjusts that control has not been demonstrated in people.
  3. 03
It has no synthetic counterpart here
Ventfort has Vesugen and Testoluten has Testagen. No Cytogen parathyroid peptide exists in this library, so there is no synthetic version to compare the evidence against.
03

What else is it used for?

Each use below carries its own evidence level. Approved means regulators have cleared it for that purpose. Investigational means it is in trials. Early research means it is being studied and is not established.

  • Osteoporosis and low bone density, in Russian clinical practicenone
  • Overactive and underactive parathyroid glandsnone
  • Added to bone and joint courses alongside Sigumir and Ventfortnone

How much, and do you cycle it?

The range, and whether you take breaks.

Research only, daily, in 10-30 day courses. Daily for 10 to 30 days, then a long break, repeated a few times a year Community practice

The course pattern comes from Russian practice. Suppliers describe the effect as lasting six to twelve months after a course, which is a claim from the sellers rather than a measured result.

05

How long does it stay in the body?

The half-life, and where the figure comes from.

Nothing publishedNo figure

No half-life has ever been published for any of the Russian bioregulator peptides, in people or in animals. The research behind them, mostly from one group in St Petersburg, measures effects on tissue, gene activity and lifespan. None of it measures how long the peptide stays in the body.

You can compare this against the whole library to see where it sits.

06

What does it cost?

Typical dose and cost, in plain numbers.

Bonothyrk is not injected

It is taken by mouth (oral). Sold as capsules, so there is nothing to reconstitute and the calculator does not apply. No dose has been established in a published human study.

07

How do you store it?

Before mixing, and after.

Room temperature. Cool, dry, out of light.

Bonothyrk is taken as a pill or capsule. Keep it in its original container at room temperature, away from heat, humidity, and direct sun. No fridge or mixing needed. Check the expiration date on the bottle.

08

What are the side effects and cautions?

Known cautions and warnings for this compound.

Who should avoid it

Check these before anything else.
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • A known allergy to bovine products
  • A diagnosed parathyroid or calcium disorder, where an unstudied extract is not a substitute for treatment
  • Anyone taking calcium, vitamin D or bone medication, without checking for interactions first

Stop and get help

These are emergencies. Seek care.
  • Any allergic reaction
  • Muscle cramps, tingling around the mouth or in the fingers, which can signal a calcium problem
  • Bone pain or a fracture from a minor knock

Common effects

Expected, and usually mild.
  • No side effects are reported by the manufacturer.
  • Nobody has run the kind of monitored trial that would find them, so the absence is a gap rather than a finding.

Where this page says nothing is established, that means nobody has studied it, not that a compound is safe.

09

Is Bonothyrk approved?

And where the numbers on this page come from.

No. Bonothyrk is not approved for any use, anywhere. It is sold labeled for laboratory research only, and there is no legal route to buy it for human use.
