On July 23, 2026, an FDA advisory committee voted 8 to 6 with one abstention to recommend adding KPV to the list of substances pharmacies may compound, for wound healing and inflammatory conditions. The FDA's own scientific reviewers had advised against it. The vote is advice, not a decision. HHS has to accept it and write formal rules first, so compounding KPV is still not legal today.

How to mix a 4 mg vial
Find the column for the amount of water you added to the vial. The number is how far to draw on a U-100 insulin syringe, where 100 units is 1 mL. This is arithmetic on the label, not a recommended dose.
