Tesamorelin on its own is FDA-approved as EGRIFTA, EGRIFTA SV and EGRIFTA WR, for HIV-associated lipodystrophy. Ipamorelin is not approved for anything, and was moved to FDA compounding Category 2. The blend has never been tested in a human trial. An approval that one ingredient holds does not carry over to a combination it was never studied in.
